Amanda created Feelings2Healings from her heart center to help you pinpoint your unresolved traumas and where they have left you vulnerable to being triggered. When we have unprocessed emotions the only way to heal is through feeling, processing, and expressing your emotions and it is crucial to be patient and kind with yourself in the process.  

Trauma is created when you are unable to process the overwhelming emotions associated with an experience, at the time that it initially occurred. This requires you to feel through those big emotions from the version of yourself, where they were created. This can look very different for everyone. These experiences may stem from an experience that is very clear in your mind, or it may stem from a time before you had a conscious memory. It may be an individual experience, or it might be a pattern of confusing or abusive behavior you had to endure over a period of time. Processing this information from your more capable adult mind is a very different emotional experience than processing it from the underexperienced mind of a younger version of yourself, where and when it may have been established.

While part of this work is looking at the past to shift into a place of healing, over time you will begin a shift into being able to better process your emotions in real time. This will help you avoid trigger reactions that later leave you feeling regret, embarrassment, and wishing you would have handled a situation with more clarity. When you better understand yourself and why you had the impulsive response you can respond more calmly to a situation. You will begin to avoid creating new traumas that will need to be looked at down the road.
